Beef-Stuffed Shells with Creamy Ricotta

This delicious Beef-Stuffed Shells recipe features creamy ricotta and tender pasta for an indulgent comfort meal that’s perfect for family dinners.

  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package directions, drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat.
  4. Add ricotta, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the beef. Mix well.
  5. Stuff each pasta shell with the beef and cheese mixture.
  6. Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  7. Place the stuffed shells in the baking dish. Top with remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, substitute tofu or mushrooms for the ground beef.
