  • 1 pound chorizo sausage
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for gravy)
  • 2 cups milk (for gravy)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the milk until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  6. Roll out to 1-inch thickness and cut into rounds.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes.
  8. In a skillet, cook the chorizo over medium heat until browned.
