  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 2 cups corn kernels
  • 1 pound lump crab meat
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  2. In the same pot, add onions and cook until soft.
  3. Add corn and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in chicken stock and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  6. Add crab meat and crumbled turkey bacon, simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
