  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the sour cream and vanilla until well combined.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together the chopped nuts and cinnamon for the topping.
  8. Pour half of the batter into a greased baking pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon-nut mixture, then add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the mixture.
  9. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  10. Let it cool before serving.
