Classic Slow Cooker Chili

A rich and hearty classic slow cooker chili recipe made with turkey bacon and beef, perfect for meal prep or a cozy night in.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can black beans
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then chop it into pieces.
  2. In the same skillet, brown the ground beef with onions and garlic until cooked through.
  3. Add the cooked beef and bacon to the slow cooker.
  4. Stir in the beans, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, paprika, and beef broth.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
