  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a saucepan, combine the butter, water, and cocoa powder and bring to a boil.
  4. Pour the hot mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. Add the buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
