  • 1 pound crab meat
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 4 cups seafood stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions, celery, and carrots. Sauté until softened.
  2. Add the shrimp and crab meat, cooking for about 5 minutes.
  3. Pour in the white wine and let it reduce for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the seafood stock, salt, pepper, and Old Bay seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and allow the bisque to heat through before serving.
