8 ounces fettuccine pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound chicken breast, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
Add the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
Toss the fettuccine pasta with the sauce until well coated.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute half and half for heavy cream.
