  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Slice the smoked sausage and add it to the skillet, cooking until browned.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, mixing until smooth.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to combine and heat through.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
