  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces egg noodles

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the sliced beef. Cook until browned.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook until tender.
  4. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, simmering for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Meanwhile, cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and serve topped with the stroganoff.
