  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 2 cups orzo pasta
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced chicken and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until browned and fully cooked.
  3. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Stir in the orzo and cook according to package instructions.
  5. Once the orzo is cooked, reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
