  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon flake salt (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and sea salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter, honey, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the egg and beat until well combined.
  5. Slowly mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  7. Sprinkle flake salt on top of each cookie.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
