Easy Homemade Chicken Pot Pie Casserole Recipe

This easy homemade chicken pot pie casserole with turkey bacon is a comforting dish perfect for any weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, turkey bacon, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and place it over the chicken mixture, sealing the edges.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute any vegetables you like.
  • You can use leftover turkey instead of chicken.
