Florida Orange Juice Pumpkin Bread with Streusel and Orange Glaze

Delightful pumpkin bread infused with Florida Orange Juice, topped with a delicious streusel and orange glaze.

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup Florida Orange Juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter, sugars, and eggs until fluffy.
  3. Stir in the pumpkin puree and Florida Orange Juice.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in chopped nuts if using.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. In a small bowl, mix ingredients for the streusel and sprinkle over the batter.
  9. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  10. Let cool before glazing with the orange glaze.

  • This bread is best served warm with a cup of tea or coffee.
  • You can store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
