Florida Orange Juice Pumpkin Bread with Streusel and Orange Glaze

This Florida Orange Juice Pumpkin Bread is a deliciously moist loaf topped with a crunchy streusel and a sweet orange glaze.

  • 1 cup Florida orange juice
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (for streusel)
  • 1/4 cup flour (for streusel)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (for streusel)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the orange juice, pumpkin puree, and vegetable oil.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and spices.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in the walnuts if using and pour the batter into the loaf pan.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the streusel ingredients and sprinkle on top of the batter.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.
  • This bread can be frozen for up to 3 months.
