1 cup orzo pasta
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
1 cup French onion soup
1 cup shredded cheese (Swiss or Gruyère)
1/2 cup green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large pot, cook the orzo pasta according to package instructions; drain.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked orzo, shredded chicken, turkey bacon, French onion soup, half of the cheese, green onions, olive oil, garlic powder, and black pepper.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
For a healthier option, use quinoa instead of orzo.
