Fried Mac and Cheese Bites

Deliciously crispy fried mac and cheese bites with a savory turkey bacon filling.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced turkey bacon
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, shredded cheese, cream cheese, and diced turkey bacon.
  2. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Shape the mixture into small balls.
  4. Dip each ball into beaten eggs, then roll in breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry the balls until golden brown, about 3–4 minutes per side.
  7. Drain on paper towels before serving.

  • These bites can be served with a dipping sauce of your choice.
