Homemade Hamburger Helper

A quick and delicious homemade version of the classic Hamburger Helper with turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
  2. Add ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in elbow macaroni, beef broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the pasta is tender.
  5. Stir in shredded cheese until melted and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve hot, topped with chopped turkey bacon.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  • Experiment with different cheeses for variety.
