  • 4 pieces chicken thighs
  • 1 cup honey BBQ sauce
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix honey BBQ sauce with garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Coat the chicken thighs with the sauce mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for 5 minutes on each side.
  5. Place the seared chicken in a baking dish and pour remaining sauce over it.
  6. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
