  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the potatoes into small cubes.
  2. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  3. Add chopped onions to the bacon grease in the pot and sauté until translucent.
  4. Add butter and let it melt, then stir in flour to make a roux.
  5. Slowly whisk in the chicken broth, then add diced potatoes, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
