  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until combined.
  4. Pour the mixture over the crackers, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes or until bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top.
  7. Let it sit for a few minutes, then spread the melted chocolate evenly.
