Sour Cream Beef Noodle Casserole

A rich and creamy casserole that’s perfect for family dinners.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 12 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  4. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the beef.
  5. In a bowl, mix the cooked noodles, beef mixture, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, and half of the cheddar cheese.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

  • This dish can be prepared a day in advance and baked just before serving.
